Meet the Staff
Stacy Honore'-McGill is our clinical research coordinator. After completing an externship and certification at Eastern College of Health Vocations, Stacy began working with Dr. Lupo in 1998 as her medical assistant. Since then, she has gained an enormous amount of knowledge and skill in the field of dermatology from billing to patient services. Working for Dr. Lupo has afforded Stacy the opportunity to become certified on numerous laser treatments and procedures. She also holds certifications with IATA and ICH for clinical trial compliance. Stacy enjoys coordinating our clinical trials to learn about the innovative products available on the market as well as to meet new people. She calls herself a “gym mom” as she devotes much of her downtime to helping her daughter pursue her gymnastics career.
Kristi Catoire is our laser technician and has worked here for more than 13 years. She continues to receive training and certification on all of the devices available at the Lupo Center. In addition to performing laser treatments, Kristi also has experience with patient check-in and check-out as well as billing. Kristi enjoys working with patients through their laser treatments in order to achieve optimal results. In her downtime, Kristi loves spending time with her family, friends and her two boxers, Rocco and Apollo.
Brittany Jacob is our licensed esthetician and lead medical assistant to Dr. Lupo. Brittany began working at the Lupo Center in 2006 as a front desk receptionist and later left to pursue her career in Esthiology at the Aveda Institute New Orleans. Upon returning to the Lupo Center in 2008, Brittany's duties include assisting Dr. Lupo and skin care coordinator as well as performing facials, chemical peels and laser treatments. Brittany loves working in dermatology and enjoys educating patients on pre- and post-treatment regimens in order to give them beautiful, younger-looking skin. In her downtime, Brittany likes to shop and spend time with family and friends.
Amanda Mancuso primarily works with Dr. Holcomb as her lead medical assistant. She received her medical assistant certification in 2010 from Eastern College of Heath Vocations, accredited through A.B.H.E.S. She has worked at the Lupo Center since 2010 after completing her medical assistant externship with us. She furthered her training and became a registered medical assistant in 2012. Amanda finds the medical aspects of dermatology to be most interesting and challenging, and she enjoys working with patients through their treatments to achieve beautiful, clear skin. Amanda has a passion for animals having previously worked as a vet technician. She enjoys dog sitting and spending time with her own dog, Audi, a rescued terrier mix.
Emily Reichley is a medical assistant for both Dr. Lupo and Dr. Holcomb, and she is also trained and certified to perform laser treatments. Before joining the Lupo Center in 2010, Emily received a degree in medical assisting, and she was a patient care coordinator for a facial plastic surgeon in Seattle, Washington, for more than five years. Emily enjoys working in the field of dermatology because it is always evolving. She loves being able to help improve patients’ self esteem through cosmetic dermatology as well as improving patients’ health through medical dermatology. Emily has found a passion for the Crescent City’s culture, music and food. She also loves to spend time with her dog, Bones, and assist her boyfriend with his restaurant business.
Thais Chanove is our office administrator who joined the practice in 2003 with more than 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Her previous work at the Omega Institute of Health and Omega Hospital is where she met and worked with Dr. Lupo, which eventually led to her position with the Lupo Center. Thais is responsible for overseeing the total operations of the practice including financial, billing, electronic medical records, personnel and staffing as well as ensuring patient satisfaction. She always welcomes a challenge. Thais enjoys spending her downtime with her husband and three children. She has a passion for interior decorating, event planning and do-it-yourself projects.
Abby Lupo is our patient services coordinator where she oversees all patient communications, marketing and events. Before joining the Lupo Center in 2012, Abby worked for more than five years in marketing and public relations. Through research and working with the doctors and staff at the Lupo Center, Abby has found an appreciation for the field of dermatology and how it can improve people’s lives both physically and emotionally. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as traveling to new places.
Celeste Barber is a receptionist in which she works primarily with patients at check-out. She also assists with patient check-in and skin care product coordination. Her previous position as a concierge manager in Pensacola, Florida, provides her with a great deal of experience in customer service and satisfaction. Celeste has always had an interest in the medical field, and she loves the fact that dermatology always has something new to offer patients. In her downtime, Celeste enjoys spending time with her son and boyfriend and hanging out at the beach.
