Since poly-L-lactic acid stimulates collagen production, the results from Sculptra often last considerably longer than with other dermal fillers made with hyaluronic acid.
The results of Sculptra are long lasting, but patients may need to have injections redone after a year or two to maintain the appearance. Sculptra cannot stop aging, but can help slow it down, allowing patients to age gracefully with fewer lines and wrinkles while maintaining youthful volume.
