Juvéderm is an excellent treatment option for New Orleans patients who want to look and feel their best. It is a dermal filler, which can replenish lost volume, improve facial contours, and smooth wrinkles and folds. When administered by a trained and experienced doctor, the result is a natural, youthful, beautiful appearance. Back in 2004, Dr. Lupo was chosen to be an investigator for the FDA approval of Juvederm, so no one has more experience than she with this filler family.
There are many excellent dermal fillers, each with its own unique benefits. Juvéderm is formulated with hyaluronic acid, which is a substance naturally present in the body. Unlike collagen-based fillers, Juvéderm does not require pretesting for allergies.
The Juvéderm family of dermal fillers includes:
With age and cumulative sun damage, skin begins to lose moisture, collagen, elastin and the hyaluronic acid in the dermis. Simultaneously, the underlying fatty layer of tissue thins. This volume loss leaves your skin loose and wrinkled, much like clothing that is a little too large. Fillers such as Juvéderm replace that volume, correcting wrinkles and restoring more youthful and attractive facial contours.
If you are ready to say goodbye to wrinkles and hello to your younger looking self, give us a call at (504) 777-3047 and schedule a cosmetic consultation.
