Patients first schedule a consultation appointment with the doctor to find out if this is the best treatment for their specific needs. Some patients may want to consider other neuromodulators such as Xeomin or Dysport, or even discuss the benefits of dermal fillers which can be used in conjunction with Botox injections. Patients relax in the treatment chair as Botox is injected into problem areas. Over the course of several days, patients will begin to see drastic improvements in the treated areas. In most cases, patients won’t have to visit the practice again for reinjection until months later when the medication begins to wear off.
