Dermal Stamping promotes cell stimulation and overall skin rejuvenation through a patented microneedling applicator that administers an individualized treatment solution into the skin. This quick and simple procedure stimulates collagen growth, improves the appearance of fine lines and increases skin moisture to the face, neck, chest and the back of hands.

The Dermal Stamping treatment efficiently delivers the desired amount of solution at a consistent, pain-free depth over a large surface area. The applicator, which is made up of 24-carat gold-plated stainless steel to prevent irritation and allergic reactions, transfers the treatment solution into the dermis through 20 microneedles that are thinner than human hair. Two things happen when the applicator penetrates the skin: 1. tiny pores are created from the microneedles and 2. a delivery trigger in the middle of the microneedle surface opens a valve allowing the treatment solution to flow through the sheaths on the microneedles into the tiny pores in the dermis. Here at the Lupo Center, the most common treatment solution is made up of botulinum toxins and hyaluronic acid fillers.

Iโ€™m going to start the Aqua Gold now, I donโ€™t want to run out of time so here is my little magical med-scientist concoction. Okay so in here, is 2 CCs of sterile saline, normal saline. 0.2 ccโ€™s of the same Belotero that I wished together. 15 units of Xeomin and 0.3 ccโ€™s of Lidocaine. That is my concoction. Everybody has got their own, these are little bitty micro needles and what I am going to do with this is I am going to stamp this in, all over her forehead. Now what I tell patients is they are going to see an immediate improvement, in the skin but they really- in the texture and the tone of their skins! Texture and tone of the skin, and they- what about luminosity? All of that gets better, and I think it is because of the Xeomin.
Could you use Dysport? Could you use Botox? You can use any of these so you see and I am just kind of stamping it in, and you can go in areas here where you could never go with Botox, or the neuromodulators because you would be worried about dropping a smile. Repeat the compound again that you have.
Well listen, this is by no means gospel ok, this is like Chefs in the kitchen. What I have in here is 2 ccโ€™ of sterile normal saline, 0.2 ccโ€™s of Belotero, 0.3 of Lido with epi and 15 units of Xeomin, and patients notice a real improvement in about 2 weeks, so you can go right up higher into the eye lash margin here for improvement of texture, and so it is a micro needling technique. You know it is different from micro needling because this is actually pumping through these. These needles are hollow, and this is a fun little procedure that I do on patients who are young, donโ€™t need a lot โ€“ but it is also really good for those accordion lines right out here that you canโ€™t get really good safely with neuromodulators. Also because of the neuromodulator you are going to get some nice improvement of telangiectasia. Okay so it is called Aquavit is the company and this is the Aqua Gold device.

Optimal results are achieved through a series of treatments determined during a physician consultation. Treatments are comfortable and only take between 15-30 minutes. We encourage patients to avoid direct sun exposure for a few days, although all normal activities can be resumed upon leaving our office.

Belotero is my go to product, to use in the Aqua Gold system which is the micro needling system that delivers the hyaluronic acid into the papillary dermis and into the epidermis, to give significant hydration of the epidermis and improve very, very fine etched lines. When using the Aqua Gold micro delivery device, in addition to Belotero I will often add neuromodulator such as Botox, Dysport or Xeomin and what that does it also improves fine mimetic lines in the cheeks without dropping the smile, and in addition the action of the neuromuscular blockade at the level of the pores actually results in the pores appearing smaller for several weeks post treatment, so in my practice the Aqua Gold is an Uber facial that we use to super hydrate the skin and improve fine lines and skin texture.

So today we are going to do some dermal stamping with the hydra needle. And the material that I am going to dermal stamp into the skin today has my combination of Belotero, a little Botox, a little bit of Lidocaine and a little bit of sterile saline. The face is thoroughly cleansed and we want to make sure that we have been feeding the little needles with the special solution. Now this is different from microneedling because microneedling, the needles are just needles and not pumping the material directly into the skin. So this the little needles are like little hypodermic needles and are actually inducing the combination into the papillary dermis. Now, the reason you can use Botox here is because itโ€™s not going to get down to the level of the muscle. So itโ€™s not going to affect the smile. And itโ€™s not going to change the personโ€™s expression or brow position or anything like that but what it will do is the anticollagenic effect of the Botox will help to shrink the pores. In addition, the hyaluronic acid and in this case, we are using Belotero, will infuse into the upper levels of the papillary dermis and super hydrate the skin. I particularly like doing dermal stamping for fine lines and crepiness underneath the eye that you really canโ€™t correct very well using Botox or filler. You usually have to do laser there to tighten the skin. But in this case we are going to take advantage of the HA, the hyaluronic acid, the Belotero o as well as the neuromodulator, in the case the Botox to infuse into the skin to have the effect. It will also help with fine lines. So we use this for fine lines, for pores, and for crepiness and it really gives a tremondous glow to the skin. Now we do it by the eyes, we want to get as close to the eyelashes as we can. Open your eye and look up. We will do it over here. Open your eye and look up. Sometimes this is the best way to get rid of fine lines around the eyes.
