Silk Peel is a very, very popular option in our office. Silk Peel is really a type of particle resurfacing or micro dermal abrasion that is actually combined with a process called dermal infusion and what happens with Silk Peel is while we are actually removing the dead surface skin cells, we are actually infusing the skin with important nutrients. Sometimes we use things to hydrate the skin, sometimes we use things to brighten the skin sometimes we use things to enhance the collagen stimulation. Silk Peel is particularly effective for darker skin types because it is very safe, and we can use it to improve the dark spots from acne as well as Melasma and very, very mild photo aging in the form of hyperpigmentation.
