Effective treatment areas for Fraxel treatment in New OrleansBy Dr. Mary Lupo
Fraxel is a laser service that is readily available at the Lupo Center and is a great way for patients to address aging skin and poor skin tone. Dr. Mary Lupo’s trained laser technician performs the Fraxel treatments for safety and effectiveness.
Fraxel treatment areas include the face, neck, chest, and hands. It can reduce the appearance of fines lines and wrinkles caused by aging while also fading scars and pigmentation issues such as freckles and sun spots. This treatment can be done just once, or patients can schedule less aggressive Fraxel services regularly in addition to their normal skin care regimen.
Treatments with Fraxel take approximately 30 minutes and it includes cleansing of the skin and application of anesthetics if desired. The procedure is relatively comfortable for most patients and many will feel the heat sensation from the laser light. Downtime is relatively short with mild redness, dryness and possible swelling. This is mild and many women can use cosmetics to cover up any cosmetic concerns until the skin fully heals.
Fraxel treatment can easily rejuvenate the skin and provide patients with a refreshed appearance. Patients located in the New Orleans area, Gulf Coast communities, or Southern Louisiana are urged to contact Dr. Mary Lupo to learn about the advantages of Fraxel and other laser therapies available in her state-of-the-art facility.
