IntelliTone skin therapy utilizes non-invasive laser technology to safely, discretely and effectively promote vibrant and healthy looking skin in men and women. IntelliTone gives patients a youthful glow and appearance by treating the conditions that are typically associated with the premature signs of aging and sun damage. This treatment stimulates collagen production by gently heating the upper dermis well below the skin's surface to improve texture while reducing the appearance of pores, redness, fine lines and red and brown spots. It is beneficial for acne and mild acne scars and discolorations.
Over the course of four to five treatments, patients can expect to see subtle yet consistent results without unwanted side effects such as bruising or excessive skin irritation. Most patients report few if any side effects; the most common is a slight redness that disappears within a few hours of treatment. Merry Christmas, everyone. This is what a busy dermatologist does to keep her skin looking good when she doesn't feel like experiencing any pain. Laser genesis is a wonderful device. The laser beam is waved over the skin. It's micro pulse 1064 lasers, so it penetrates deeper into the dermis and what it does is it stimulates collagen production. It also helps to shrink oil glands, which helps to minimize your pores. So, it's my favourite thing to do when I want to look better and I don't want any down time and I don't want even a little bit of pain. I want to be Zen for the holidays. I don't want to have a lot of flaking, but I do want to have my skin glow.

Laser genesis is a nonsurgical option that we use to improve the quality of the skin. It works at a deeper level of the dermis, and the reason that's important is it actually stimulates collagen production and very importantly makes the pilosebaceous unit, which is what a pore is, look better, because when you refine the collagen around the pores, the pores will appear smaller. So, we use laser genesis in our practice. With a combination called the prejuve-facial, the prejuve energy facial is a combination of excel less for deeper tightening and the laser genesis for superficial refinement of the colour, texture and pores.
