New Orleans area patients can enjoy IntelliTone treatment for skin rejuvenation
By Dr. Mary LupoIntelliTone is a laser light device that helps in heating up the skin to rejuvenate it with collagen production while helping stimulate skin cell turnover. This wavelength also heats the pores to kill acne-causing bacteria. This is done in a non-invasive, less aggressive manner than other laser therapies. Patients do not have to schedule healing and downtime and are able to return back to the busy, active lifestyles immediately after their in-office procedure. Patients can enjoy fast, easy, and affordable treatments scheduled several weeks apart, due to the type of laser used.
IntelliTone uses a non-ablative laser. This means that the skin is not injured to stimulate skin cell turnover. Ablative lasers tend to require more healing and recovery time and are often more expensive, though these lasers typically produce faster results because they are more aggressive. Because of this, non-ablative laser therapies do require more treatments for optimal results. With IntelliTone, patients are urged to schedule approximately eight treatments to see the gradual improvement of their skin.
