Our dermatologist can adjust the MicroPen EVO to the patient’s specific needs. Shallow depth microneedling is best for improving the texture and tone of the skin when fine lines or mild scarring exist, typically around 0.5mm. Medium depth treatment is best for scarring and stretch marks, while deeper depth, anywhere between 1.5mm and 3.0mm, may be suggested for deep acne scars, more defined wrinkles, and poor texture and tone. Patients can ask for a superficial treatment or a more aggressive treatment based on their specific desires and the results they would like to achieve.
