Vascular lasers are just one of many other treatments available in the New Orleans area by Dr. Mary Lupo, a board certified dermatologist. At the Lupo Center for Aesthetic and General Dermatology, we have some of the most cutting-edge technologies to provide patients with quality care. From treatment of acne and aging skin to more extensive laser therapies, we have the widest range of comprehensive treatments available in the area. Vascular lasers are popular in dermatology and can be a great way for patients to enhance their skin and address a wide range of concerns, which may include:
Dr. Mary Lupo encourages patients to ask about vascular laser treatment if they are dealing with any of the above conditions. Patients will find that this laser therapy can provide dramatic results anywhere on the body, though treatments are often localized on areas such as the chest, neck, and the face.
Patients love vascular laser treatments because they will not affect their busy schedules. Patients can come during their lunchtime to have the treatment done and return to their day afterwards without interruption. Though some redness may occur immediately after treatment, this can easily be disguised with make-up if desired. Swelling can be reduced by ice packs post treatment.
Vascular laser therapy is relatively comfortable. Patients describe the feeling of the laser energy as a warm sensation. Treatment sessions often run about 30 minutes depending on the size of the treatment area.
